STEAL A PIZZA OF MY HEART: POP-CULTURE’S 5 COOLEST PIZZA LOVERS

In honor of National Pizza Day (February 9th) we’re celebrating with a Fifth Sun pizza party.

We’re even getting a pizza pinata for the day. I mean, how could we say no to a giant pizza filled with even  tinier pizzas? We’ve died and gone to heaven.

So, we’d like to order up one pizza party (with everything on it) and invite all of our favorite Fifth Sun pizza lovers to the party too!

Don’t worry if you like pineapple and anchovies on your pie because everyone (even “weirdoughs” like you) will be invited to enjoy a slice of this party.

1) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Pizza Power!

Cowabunga, dude! You can bet if there’s going to be a pizza-themed party that Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael will be there to steal a slice.

Whether you are more of a Splinter fan, or you’re just more impressed by villains like Bebop and Rocksteady, everyone can agree that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the coolest guys living in the sewer. Even if being the coolest guys living in a sewer isn’t really that hard to do...

Being a mutant turtle means a busy life of fighting crime and saving New York City from evil mutants. Thankfully though, it also means a life filled with pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Splinter —the world’s greatest sensei — has taught the turtles an important life lesson: pizza is life. Being a hero in a half shell is a tough life, but being able to order a pizza on the phone makes it all worth it. Fingers for the win!

2) SpongeBob SquarePants’ Krusty Krab Pizza is the Pizza for You and Me!

SpongeBob is pretty excited about the party, especially since he heard there’s going to be pineapple pizza (and you know how he feels about pineapple)!

In the Nickelodeon episode “Pizza Delivery” SpongeBob and Squidward set off to deliver their very first Krusty Krab pizza and get lost on the way. The Krusty Krab may not actually have pizza on the menu, but that isn’t going to stop Mr. Krabs from making sure his customer gets one.

Thankfully with the help of the pioneers and SpongeBob’s very special “Pizza for You and Me” song, they are able to deliver the tasty treat in the end.

Even if the customer turns out to be a real jerk in the end (where’s his Diet Dr. Kelp!?), the moral of the story is that pizza is always possible (even under the sea) and that there’s never a bad time to make up a song about pizza.

3) Fast Times at Ridgemont High’s Little Feast

If the popular 80’s film Fast Times at Ridgemont High has taught us anything about life, it’s that all you need to be happy are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and a freshly delivered pizza.

The ultimate surfer dude, Jeff Spicoli, is all about keeping his priorities straight and his most important priority is pizza!

In fact, he’s infamous for ordering a pizza in the middle of Mr. Hand’s history class. He explains,

“If I'm here and you're here, doesn't that make it our time? Certainly, there's nothing wrong with a little feast on our time.”

The only thing that could keep Spicoli  away from the Fifth Sun pizza party is if there are some seriously bodacious waves that day, dude.

4) Uncle Grandpa’s Pizza Steve is One Cool Homeslice

Pizza Steve is portrayed laying down alongside the statement "That's Right. It's Pizza Night"

There’s no question that all of the Cartoon Network’s Uncle Grandpa characters will be at the Fifth Sun party!

The coolest talking pizza in sunglasses, or Pizza Steve, hasn’t been able to talk about anything else since he got the invitation.

We’re not exactly sure if he’s planning on eating any pizza at the party because — well — he is a pizza, so that could be just a little bit awkward.

However, everyone else like Uncle Grandpa, Belly Bag, Mr. Gus, and Giant Realistic Flying Tiger are super excited. They’re planning to fill their belly bags with every kind of pizza at the party!

5)  Toy Story’s Pizza Planet Party

It wouldn’t be a pizza party without all of your favorite Pixar characters like Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and the lovable green aliens.

Also, we had to invite them because Andy’s toys were starting to get a little tired of hanging out at Pizza Planet all the time anyway. They’re pretty excited about getting to try a different pizza place for once!

Plus, all the Toy Story Squeeze Toy Aliens were getting annoying because they kept begging The Claw to take them to a “better place”. Now everyone is happy because what’s better than a pizza party?

Whether you are more of a classic cheese pizza fan, or you’re all about Hawaiian pizza, we promise that everyone will be able to find something they like at this party! Just try not to eat Pizza Steve or things might get weird.

We don’t want to be too cheesy or anything, but we want to make sure that you have a perfect National Pizza Day! Plus, with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, you can’t go wrong with a romantic pizza dinner outfit. Pizza is love after all. Treat yourself to a slice with a Fifth Sun Pizza t-shirt today!
